Greetings of Peace, Joy and Hope from Kiran Tirkey, the youngest CJ of Allahabad Province , privileged to be incorporated into the Congregation by Vows in this Jubilee year. My reflections on – Pilgrims of Hope- transformed my negativity to positivity, challenging me to be a ray of hope where its flame is dim, to face calmly the ups and downs in life, trusting the best is yet to be.
Hope heals my brokenness; reconnects me with God and others, opens up glimmers of light in darkness. It is like climbing to a mountaintop, where I can see the sun’s light, even when it seems hidden by clouds.
Prayer, the Word of God preserve, renew and foster hope within me. It multiplies, when I actively seek God’s presence even in difficult times, focusing on the goodness, beauty and wonder that exist within me and in the world around me.
I am like a rose with both petals and thorns. Some see petals, others thorns but God sees all of me beautiful. When storm- clouds gather with difficulties, disappointments, challenges, confusion and uncertainties, I listen attentively to the Lord’s whispering – “Kiran, Hope in me, you are mine, I have a plan for you.” I bounce back, rooted in God’s faithfulness. I rejoice in the promise of Easter- peace, joy, and newness of life in Christ.
These reflections on my experiences, fill me with gratitude for the gift of life with a mission, for the love that surrounds me and persons who guide and accompany me to my destination.
I am like a clear, running stream, flowing from God ,bringing hope to those along the way, gently merging into the Deep Eternal Ocean of Life, trusting in God’s plan and grace.
