The Delhi Province celebrates the inspiring work documented in the “Friends of Mary Ward Chronicle 2025–2026,” a compilation reflecting the faith, creativity, and commitment of schools across our communities.
This chronicle captures how educators and students are embodying the timeless values that Venerable Mary Ward championed: truth, justice, freedom, sincerity, courage, compassion, and joyful service.
Throughout 2025 and into 2026, the Friends of Mary Ward (FMW) groups at our schools have undertaken meaningful initiatives that transform Mary Ward’s vision into lived action. From prayer services and liturgical celebrations to leadership programmes and creative expressions, each activity nurtures hearts to become instruments of God’s love.
Highlights include visits to care facilities where students shared Christmas carols with elderly residents, distributed meals to families in need, and presented programmes at schools for physically challenged children. Teachers participated in the Mary Ward Compass Project – a seminal educational framework developed at Loretto School – deepening their understanding of holistic formation rooted in Mary Ward’s tradition.
Meaningful initiatives
A significant milestone was the merger celebration on November 4, 2025. Weekly gatherings continue to foster spiritual growth, with members reflecting on maxims such as “Satisfy yourself with nothing which is less than God” and living out Mary Ward’s call to courage, freedom, and justice.
This chronicle stands as a testament to how ordinary moments, grounded in faith and service, become extraordinary expressions of God’s grace.
