Feast of Saint Ignatius – Festive online liturgy on 31 July

Featured Image

This year, the feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola is a special one. First, because it comes during the year designated as Ignatius 500, which commemorates the 500th anniversary of the wounding of the founder of the Jesuits during a battle in Pamplona in 1521 – an event that changed the course of his life. Second, because we celebrate it during our Online Discernment Process.

Therefore, we want to open this liturgy to the Mary Ward Family worldwide. We warmly invite sisters of the CJ and the IBVM, companions and friends of Mary Ward, teachers and pupils from Mary Ward schools, and all those who are united with us in thoughts and prayers to join the livestream of our liturgy on YouTube.

A common liturgy group of CJ and IBVM sisters has prepared the liturgy.
