Many refugees from Ukraine are still arriving in Slovakia every day. Our fellow sisters there are very committed to these people, especially women and children. They also support the sisters in Ukraine with aid collections and transports.
One of the sisters who is on duty every day is Sr. Helena Bugošová CJ; “I try to give people hope,” she reports. Latetely, Sr. Helena gave an interview to the German Catholic Church official news website – www.katholisch.de She is working closely with our sisters in Uzhhorod and others to create a “supply chain” of humanitarian aid to Uzhhorod and beyond.
