On Saturday 24 February 2024, the first Zoom meeting of missionaries abroad within the Congregation of Jesus took place.
There were 12 missionaries present: two from Cuba, three from Mongolia, three from Mozambique, two from the Philippines and one each from Myanmar and South Sudan.
Each missionary gave a presentation about their mission and shared their joys and concerns. During this time we celebrated our ministry and commitment to care for those God has entrusted to us, even when we are far apart.
We prayed that Mary Ward would continue to guide us as we look forward to our time together with IBVM, hoping that this gathering will not be a one-off event, but a time of support and comfort for each other.
