Dear companions in the Lord,
On Saturday 31 July, the feast of St Ignatius, there will be a celebration of St Ignatius by Zoom. It is centred on the CJ pre-GC event, but all members of both congregations are most welcome to join in, and we hope there will be many of you.
It will have three parts:
a) 13h30 Rome time – an initial time of meditation and reflection
b) 13h45 a time for sharing in groups, perhaps followed by a break
c) 15h00 a time of shared prayer and blessing
How to take part:
Parts a) and c) will be livestreamed on the CJ YouTube channel. The link is as follows:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSZE-ZQ7AOw0FnjVmgojQAQ
In part b) those of you who are joining us from beyond the pre-GC event are also invited to share in what we are doing.
* to take some time, either individually or, if possible, in community groups, to reflect on what you are most grateful for from Ignatius and/or Mary Ward
* on that basis, if you wish, to share a text or a prayer online
How to share your text or prayer online:
* Go to http://tiny.cc/ignatius2021 – you should arrive on what is called a Padlet
* Click on the plus sign (white on red circle) at the bottom right-hand corner
* In the box that appears, write your name where it says Title and your text or prayer where it says ‘write something’
This may be a little unfamiliar, but it is in fact very easy to do, and may be a powerful way in which we can all be united in prayer for this special feast during what is a quite unique event.
With every blessing to you all for the feast and may Jesus continue to have us all in His keeping
