Very close to Santuario de Fatimá, in Portugal, RENATE (Religious in Europe Networking against trafficking and exploitation) held its Assembly from 13-19 November 2022.
The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Mary McHugh and amongst the 105 participants, out of 19 countries, a good number of Mary Ward Family members shared their commitment and passion against human trafficking in Europe.
Under the motto Realising the dream: A world free of slavery this Assembly’s main objective was to discern and decide its mandate, responding to God’s will in accomplishing the RENATE mission for our time.
