We met from 30th June to 4th July in the beautiful Centre of St. Francis Xaver in Central Slovakia. Our Provincial Assembly was an opportunity to be together, to strengthen our unity, inspire each other and renew ourselves on our way of proceeding. We also touch our Key statements of the GC 2021-22 to bring them more to our reality and life.
Fr. Jakub Garčár, a Jesuit, facilitated our Assembly, leading us also to deepening our desire to follow Christ according to Ignatius ‘and Mary Ward´s vision.
The four days of our gathering were fulfilled by sharing, inputs, common Eucharist with beautiful music and singing of our younger members, a quality time during afternoons and evenings. The General Assistant Helena Kang CJ joined us together with Sr. Františka, a General Secretary which brought us even much joy.
During the final Liturgy Fr. Jakub gave us a special gift, the stole with our CJ cross on it.
At the end of the Assembly we felt a strong breeze of the Spirit, we enjoyed being together and we left to bring hope and light wherever we live and serve.
