This year, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the presence of Mary Ward women at the United nations. First, the IBVM NGO office in New York ensured the representation of Mary Ward women and their commitment to education, for women and girls, for justice and against hunger, exploitation and human trafficking. Since then, the office has become a common office of IBVM and CJ with representants from both branches of Mary Ward’s institute.
