From 1 June 2020, Stefania Donaera took up her post as the new communications officer for the two branches of Mary Ward’s institute. Stefania’s appointment was a joint initiative of the two General Leadership teams. She has her office in Casa Loreto, Via Massaua, but will work equally for both congregations. This is another concrete step in collaboration and along the path to eventual union of the two branches. Stefania has a lot of experience in the field of communication. For 20 years, she has worked in an Italy-based NGO as a media specialist.
For both congregations this new development is a response to the calls of their previous General Congregations, which already foresaw that communications, at all levels, are an integral part of our mission in sharing our spirituality, our ministries and our life.
On 26 June, Stefania visited the General Leadership team here in Via Nomentana 250. It was an opportunity for her to get to know us and for us to know her a bit better. We expressed our gratitude, that she accepted the appointment.
