We are very grateful to the general leadership team for organizing the online Extended Leadership Council Meeting.
The facilitators, Fr. David McCallum SJ and Sandra Chaoul invited us “To Celebrate Our Call“ to Become a “Discerning Body in Service of Our CJ Mission and Charism”. It gave us a platform to share our experiences and concerns. The active and joyful involvement of all participants energized, enthused and encouraged us. These three days were very enriching and we found space to experience the ‘union of minds and hearts’ – our bond and rootedness in Mary Ward Charism and Ignatian Spirituality.
The sacred space which was created to enter into silence and reflection enabled us to actively participate in the spiritual conversations in pairs and groups. Listening to the sharing of our sisters helped us to become aware that Diversity is a gift and Conflicts are necessary opportunities through which we journey together as a Discerning Body in a spirit of openness and trust.
