On 1 January 2021, Sr Monica Cojan CJ will begin her mission as the new Provincial of the Latin European Province (LEP), composed of the former Romanian and Italian Provinces. After a long journey of searching prayer and discernment, the two Provinces agreed to unite to one new Latin European Province. We thank Sr Patricia Rediu, Provincial of the former Romanian Province and Sr Letizia Galbusera Provincial of the former Italian Province for all they have done for the sisters in their Provinces and for all the efforts to make steps towards union.
We, the sisters of the Generalate, wish Sr Monica an abundance of God’s blessings for the coming six years of her term of office. We will ask the Holy Spirit to be with her so that she can lead the province in love and discernment. We assure her of our prayer and support as she begins her new mission.
