We are delighted to make another addition to the blog section of the website. With her permission, we are uploading Chris Burke IBVM’s very moving article about Mary Ward’s last years, which will also be published in the UK Jesuit publication “The Way” in due course. Whilst not directly related to the General Congregation, it reminds us of how Mary Ward lived and responded to the many challenging situations of her later – as well as her earlier – years, and what an example she provides for us as we too try to live and respond generously to the challenging realities of our own times and in particular to the reality of the worldwide pandemic through which we are all currently living. Venerable Mary Ward, pray for us and give us your spirit.
