26th February – Ash Wednesday
Today we begin the season of Lent. It is a season – and an invitation – to deepen our prayer and to come closer to Our Lord in preparation for the great joy of the Resurrection at Easter. Pope Francis gives us some concrete examples of that invitation for our daily lives during these weeks of Lent.
