The 10. World Day of Prayer and Reflection against human trafficking will take place on the 8 February 2024.
Telepace Roma took the opportunity and interviewed Sr Adina Bălan CJ, coordinator for Europe of Talitha Kum, the international network against trafficking which, together with other realities, has organised a week of mobilisation to mark this year’s date.
Pope Francis invited all people to join the day during the Angelus prayer last sunday, to fight the dramatic phenomenon of trafficking. “Even today,” he stressed, “so many brothers and sisters are deceived with false promises and then subjected to exploitation and abuse”.
